India Test squad for World Test Championship 2023 Final

The big news is Yashasvi Jaiswal replacing Ruturaj Gaikwad as a stand-by player for the 2023 WTC final. Rohit Sharma will lead the Test team with five specialist batters, two wicketkeepers, five pace bowlers, and three spin options.

Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Virat Kohli, are the batting options besides Rohit Sharma and Rahane. KS Bharat is the first-choice wicketkeeper-batter despite his average performances in the 4-Test series against Australia at home. Rahane comes in place of Shreyas Iyer, who will miss the final due to a back injury. KL Rahul was initially named in the final 15 but got injured during the Indian T20 league 2023.
