India holds the record for the biggest win by runs in ODI history. Batting first against Sri Lanka, India scored 390/5 in their 50 overs thanks to Virat Kohli’s 166 and Shubman Gill 116. In the second innings, Siraj took 4 wickets and Shami and Kuldeep took 2 wickets each to dismiss Sri Lanka for just 73 runs.
2) Australia: 309 runs (vs Netherlands, Delhi 2023)
On 25 October 2023, Australia recorded the second-biggest win in ODI cricket and the biggest win in ODI World Cup history. Batting first against Netherlands, David Warner scored 104 and Glenn Maxwell hit the fastest hundred (40 balls) in World Cup history to take the team to 399 in 50 overs. Netherlands were dismissed for just 90 runs with Adam Zampa taking 4/8.

Zimbabwe holds the record for the third largest win by runs in ODI cricket. The milestone win came during the 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualifier against USA. Zimbabwe registered their first 400-plus total in ODI cricket thanks to captain Sean Williams 174. In the second innings, Sikandar Raza was the pick of the bowlers (2/15) as USA were all out for 104.
