West Indies (134 runs vs Uganda, 2024)

West Indies has the second-biggest win (134 runs) in the T20 World Cups. Batting first against Uganda in the 2024 T20 World Cup ,atch at Guyana, the hosts made 173 runs. Johnson Charles was the top-scorer with 44 runs. Akeal Hosein took 5/11, dismissing Uganda for 39 and winning by 134 runs. This is West Indies' biggest win in the T20 World Cup.

South Africa (130 runs vs Scotland, 2009)

South Africa is third on the list of the biggest wins in T20 World Cups. Electing to bat first against Scotland, South Africa scored a massive 211 runs, with AB de Villiers hitting 79 runs off just 34 balls. The bowling attack, led by Dale Steyn, demolished the Scottish batting lineup for just 81 runs, securing a winning margin of 130 runs.

Afghanistan (130 runs vs Scotland, 2021)

Afghanistan holds fourth place on the list of biggest wins in the T20 World Cup. In the 2021 edition, Afghanistan registered a 130-run victory over Scotland. Batting first, Zazai, Gurbaz, and Zadran scored quickly to put up 190 runs. Mujeeb and Rashid were the chief destroyers, sharing 9 wickets between them. Scotland was dismissed for 60 runs and lost by 130 runs.  

Afghanistan (125 runs vs Uganda, 2024)

Afghanistan produced another one-sided dominance against Uganda in the 2024 T20 World Cup. Batting first, Afghanistan posted 183 runs, with contributions from openers Gurbaz and Zadran. Pacers Naveen and Farooqi demolished the Uganda batting, dismissing them for 55 and winning by 125 runs. Farooqi took 5/9, the fourth-best bowling figure in the T20 World Cups.

England (116 runs vs Afghanistan, 2012)

The 2012 T20 World Cup saw England cruise to a dominant victory against Afghanistan. Electing to bat first, England put up a strong total of 196 runs, with Luke Wright remaining unbeaten on 99 runs. Stuart Broad, Greame Swann, Jade Dernbach and Samit Patel took 2 wickets each to dismiss Afghanistan for 80 runs, falling short by 116 runs.

South Africa (104 runs vs Bangladesh, 2022)

South Africa registered their second biggest win in the T20 World Cups against Bangladesh in the 2022 edition. Batting first, Quinton de Kock scored 63, and Rossouw hit 109 runs off 56 balls to take South Africa to 205 runs. Bangladesh was under pressure from the start of the innings, eventually getting all out for 101 runs. Rabada took 4, and Shamsi took 3 wickets with the ball.

West Indies (104 runs vs Afghanistan, 2024)

The final group stage match of the 2024 T20 World Cup saw West Indies register a 104-run win against Afghanistan. Batting first, Nicholas Pooran's 98 took the team to 218 runs. Spinners Akeal Hosein and Gudakesh Motie took 2 wickets each, while Obed McCoy took 3/14. Afghanistan was dismissed for 114 runs and lost by 104 runs.

India is ninth on the list of biggest wins by runs in the T20 World Cup history. India beat England by 90 runs in the 2012 T20 World Cup group-stage match. India made 170 runs and all-out England for 80 runs, their lowest score in the T20 World Cup. Rohit Sharma scored 55 runs with the bat, and Harbhajan Singh took 4/12 in 4 overs.  

New Zealand (89 runs vs Australia, 2022)
