Batting first on 21 June 2010 at the Rangiri Dambulla Stadium, Imran Farhat, Shahzaib Hasan and Umar Akmal scored fifties while captain Shahid Afridi scored 124 runs off 60 balls which included 17 fours and 4 sixes. Bangladesh eventually lost by 139 runs.
2) India: 374/4 (vs Hong Kong, Karachi 2008)
On 25 June 2008, India posted the second-highest score in 50-overs Asia Cup history against Hong Kong. Batting first, openers Gambhir and Sehwag scored fifties before getting dismissed in short intervals. After that, Dhoni and Raina came to the crease and both scored centuries. Piyush Chawla took 4/23 and India won by 256 runs.
3) Sri Lanka: 357/9 (vs Bangladesh, Lahore 2008)
On the same day, Sri Lanka recorded the third-highest total in Asia Cup history against Bangladesh in Lahore. Batting first, Sri Lanka put up a huge score of 357 runs thanks to Jayasuriya’s fifty and Sangakkara’s hundred. Bangladesh scored 226 runs in their 50 overs and lost by 131 runs.
