BCCI announced India Men's 15-member squad for the 3-match Test series against Bangladesh, to be played from 16 Oct to 5 Nov 2024. Bengaluru, Pune and Mumbai are the three venues for the series. This series is part of the 2023-25 World Test Championship.
Rohit Sharma will captain the India team with Jasprit Bumrah named as vice-captain. Left-arm seamer Yash Dayal is the only player left out from the squad that won 2-0 against Bangladesh. Harshit Rana, Mayank Yadav, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Prasidh Krishna are the four traveling reserves. Mohammed Shami has still not recovered from his injury.

Tom Latham will lead New Zealand as the full-time Test captain for the first time. He has previously captained the New Zealand Test side nine times. Tim Southee stepped down from the captaincy after the 2-0 loss in Sri Lanka last month.
Will O'Rourke, Ben Sears, Matt Henry and Tim Southee are the four pacers. Michell Santner, Glenn Phillips, Rachin Ravindra and Michael Bracewell will share the spin duties with Ajaz Patel.
