India Test Squad for England Series 2024 (5th Test)

29 February 2024 BCCI announced the India cricket team squad for the last Test against England. Rohit Sharma will continue to lead the Indian side, with Jasprit Bumrah as the vice-captain. Virat Kohli will miss the series for personal reasons. Rajat Patidar and Sarfaraz Khan retain their place in the team.

Ravindra Jadeja, Ravi Ashwin and Axar Patel are the three spin all-rounders. Dhruv Jurel and KS Bharat as the two keepers in the team. Akash Deep, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj and Mukesh Kumar are the four pacers. Padikkal replaces the injured KL Rahul in the squad.

11 December 2023 England Cricket Board announced the 16-man squad for the 5-match Test series against India. Ben Stokes will captain the side, with Ollie Pope as the vice-captain.

Pacer Gus Atkinson and spinners Tom Hartley and Shoaib Bashir are the three uncapped players in the team. The other three pace options are veteran James Anderson, Mark Wood, and Ollie Robinson.

Ben Stokes will play as a specialist batter. The two wicket-keeping options are Jonny Bairstow and Ben Foakes. Ollie Pope return after injuries during the Ashes 2023. Jack Leach is injured and out of the series. Rehan Ahmed is not available for the 5th Test.
