India ODI Squad for Sri Lanka Tour 2024
18 July 2024 BCCI announced the India cricket team squad for the ODI series against Sri Lanka, starting 2 August. Rohit Sharma will captain the 15-member squad with Shubhman Gill as vice-captain. Virat Kohli, KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer will be seen in action in the 50-overs format.
Ravindra Jadeja and Sanju Samson are the big names to miss out from the ODI series. Harshit Rana is the fourth pacer in the ODI squad, alongside Siraj, Khaleel and Arshdeep. Washington Sundar and Riyan Parag are included in the ODI squad as well.

30 July 2024 Sri Lanka announced the 17-member squad for the 3-match ODI series against India. Charith Asalanka is the new ODI skipper replacing Kusal Mendis. Sri Lanka won ODI series against Zimbabwe and Afghanistan but lost to Bangladesh under Mendis captaincy.
Nishan Madushka get a place in the ODI squad, while spinner Akila Dananjaya and all-rounder Chamika Karunaratne are recalled. Sadeera Samarawickrama and Janith Liyanage are the two changes from the T20 squad. Uncapped pacers Mohamed Shiraz and Eshan Malinga are the replacements for Matheesha Pathirana and Dilshan Madushanka. Jeffrey Vandersay replaces injured Wanindu Hasaranga.
