Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) hold the unwanted record for the lowest score in IPL history. They were skittled for just 49 runs in 9.4 overs against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Eden Gardens on April 23rd, 2017, shattering the previous record of 58 runs set by Rajasthan Royals against RCB itself in Cape Town back in 2009.

Royal Challengers Bangalore holds the record for the lowest total in the IPL history. Chasing a target of 132 runs on 23rd April 2017 at the Eden Gardens, none of the Bangalore batters reached double-figures, with Kedar Jadhav top-scoring with 9 runs. Coulter-Nile, Woakes, and Grandehomme picked up 3 wickets each.
2. Rajasthan Royals - 58 runs (vs Royal Challengers Bangalore, Cape Town 2009)
On 18th April 2009, Rajasthan posted the second-lowest score in IPL history against Bangalore. They struggled against the Bangalore bowlers and were bowled out for just 58 runs in 15.1 overs. It was the lowest Indian T20 League score for 8 years before Bangalore’s debacle with the bat against Kolkata in 2017.

3. Rajasthan Royals - 59 runs (vs Royal Challengers Bangalore, Jaipur 2023)
On 14th May 2023, Rajasthan posted the third-lowest score in IPL history against Bangalore. They struggled against the Bangalore bowlers and were bowled out for just 59 runs in just 10.3 overs. It is the lowest score in the 2023 edition of the Indian T20 League score. Wayne Parnell took 3 for 10 in his 3 overs.
4. Delhi Daredevils - 66 runs (vs Mumbai Indians, Delhi 2017)
On 6 May 2017, Delhi recorded the fourth-lowest total in Indian T20 League history. Chasing 212 runs, the batters struggled against the accuracy and spin of Mumbai bowlers and were bowled out for just 66 runs in 13.4 overs. Karun Nair was the innings top scorer with 21 runs in 15 balls.
5. Delhi Daredevils - 67 runs (vs. Punjab Kings, Mohali 2017)
Delhi features twice in the list of the top 5 lowest scores in the league. On 30 April 2017, Delhi recorded the fifth-lowest total in Indian T20 League history. Batting first, the batters struggled against the swing and accuracy of Punjab bowlers and were bowled out for just 67 runs in 17.1 overs. Corey Anderson was the innings top scorer with 18 runs in 25 balls.
