Out of the 16 teams playing in this year’s T20 World Cup, only the top eight teams have automatically qualified for the Super 12.
The remaining eight teams are divided into two groups, each with, i.e., four in Group A and the other four in Group B. The top two teams of both groups will advance to the Super 12 of the T20 World Cup.
The Super 12 stage will have twelve teams divided into groups 1 and 2. The teams that finish in the top two of both groups will qualify for the semifinals. The winners of the semifinals will play against each other in the final.
T20 World Cup 2022 Points Table Rules
- 2 points for a win
- 1 point for a no result/abandoned match
- If teams finish with equal number of points, Net Run Rate (NRR) will be used to determine the rankings in the group
