The 7th edition of the TNPL was played from 12th June 2023 to 12th July 2023 in Tamil Nadu, India. Eight teams representing eight districts in Tamil Nadu participated in the 2023 season. The first match of the 2023 Tamil Nadu Premier League was played between Kovai and Tiruppur on 12th June 2023 at 7:15 PM IST at the SNR College Cricket Ground, Coimbatore.
It is a professional Twenty20 competition contested in Tamil Nadu and was formed in 2016 by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association. It is one of the regional cricket premier leagues of India. The first season was inaugurated by MS Dhoni and won by Tuti Patriots. Chepauk is the 4-time winner.

Tamil Nadu Premier League 2023 Schedule
All the matches for TNPL 2023 will be played across four venues - Coimbatore, Dindigul, Salem, and Tirunelveli. Salem will host the Qualifier 1 and Eliminator match and Tirunelveli will be hosting the Qualifier 2 and Final match.
The afternoon matches will begin at 3:15 PM while the night matches will start at 7:15 PM. Similar to IPL 2023, TNPL will also use the impact player rule for the first time and will also see the introduction of DRS.
