The second season of the Women's Premier League (WPL), a women's franchise T20 cricket league, is scheduled to be played from 22 February to 17 March 2024. The 2024 Women's Premier League will have five teams - Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Giants, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore and UP Warriorz. Mumbai Indians are the defending champions, having won the 2023 WPL, beating Delhi Capitals by 7 wickets.

WPL 2024 Auction Details

The WPL Auction 2024 was held on December 9, 2023 in Mumbai from 3 pm IST. 165 players (104 Indians, 64 overseas) registered for the auction. A total of 60 players were retained from the previous season by the five teams. A total of 30 players were available during the auction, nine of whom were overseas.

Annebel Sutherland (2 Cr), Kashvee Gautam (2 Cr), Vrinda Dinesh (1.3 Cr), Shabnim Ismail (1.2 Cr) and Phoebe Litchfield (1.1 Cr) were the five highest sold players in the 2024 auction.
