27 December 2022 The BCCI has announced the India squads for the ODI and T20I series against Sri Lanka. India will play 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is across six venues, starting on 3rd January 2023. Jasprit Bumrah was named in the ODI squad after a long injury layoff on 3rd January 2023 but withdrawn on 9th January 2023.

India T20 Squad for Sri Lanka Series 2023 

H. Pandya has been picked as the captain of the T20I team, with S. Yadav being the vice captain. Regular captain R. Sharma will be absent due to a thumb injury, while K. Rahul and V. Kohli have been rested. Pacers S. Mavi and M. Kumar have earned a call-up to the T20I squad for the first time. India won the last T20I series in New Zealand, continuing their successful run in bilateral outings.

India vs Sri Lanka 2023 Schedule

India and Sri Lanka will face each other in 3 T20Is and 3 ODIs from 3rd January to 15th January. All the T20I matches have a start time of 7 PM IST and will be played at Mumbai, Pune, and Rajkot, respectively.

The ODI series is not part of the ODI Super League. All the ODI matches have a start time of 1:30 PM IST and will be played at Guwahati, Kolkata, and Thiruvananthapuram, respectively.
