After a short and thrilling T20 series in Ireland (India won 2-0), Team India is ready for its next assignment. India and England will lock horns in one Test (rescheduled from 2021) and six limited-overs matches (3 T20Is and 3 ODIs). The India vs England series will start on July 1 and will finish on July 17, 2022.
India then have the tour of the West Indies, the Asia Cup and series against Australia in the lead up to the T20 World Cup, which is set to be played in Australia in October-November 2022. The team failed to make it to the semifinals in the previous edition of the tournament.
England vs India Match Schedule 2022
The India cricket team is scheduled to play England in the rescheduled 5th Test from the 2021 series, 3 ODI matches and 3 T20I matches. The India-England Test match will be played at Edgbaston from 1st July onward. Southampton, Edgbaston and Trent Bridge will host the 3 T20s, respectively, whereas the 3 ODIs will be played at Lord’s, the Oval and Manchester.
The Test match is part of the 2021-23 World Test Championship.
