India will take on Australia in the first T20I of the 3-match series at the IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali on Tuesday (September 20) evening.

The India cricket team failed to advance from the Super Four stage during the recently concluded Asia Cup 2022. The team is back at full strength with the inclusion of Bumrah and Harshal and will be looking to fine tune its preparations for the 2022 T20 World Cup. 

On the other hand, the Australia team last played a T20I series in June against Sri Lanka, winning by a margin of 2-1. They last toured India in 2019 and won both the T20I matches quite convincingly.
