The team has qualified for the play-offs 7 times and has won the title twice, in 2012 and 2014. Bought at the 2022 auction, Shreyas brings playing and leadership experience into the equation. He has been at the forefront of Delhi’s radical improvements in recent years in the league, making them contenders for the title.

A middle-order batter, Shreyas is a good reader of the game and a clean and powerful hitter. He allows his players to express themselves, which often brings out the best in them. In his two full seasons as captain, Delhi reached the 2020 final, losing narrowly to Mumbai.
