Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 Winner – New Zealand

New Zealand created history by winning the 2024 Women’s T20 World Cup in the UAE. Playing their third final, New Zealand beat South Africa by a comfortable margin of 32 runs. Amelia Kerr was named the Player of the Tournament for her 135 runs & 15 wickets.

Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 Winner – Australia  

Australia cemented its dominance by winning the 2023 Women’s T20 World Cup in South Africa. It was their sixth Women’s T20 World Cup title and third in a row. In the final, Australia beat first-time finalist South Africa. Ashleigh Gardner was named the Player of the Tournament for her 110 runs & 10 wickets.

Women’s T20 World Cup 2020 Winner – Australia  

The 2020 edition, held in Australia, featured a high-energy final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Australia defeated India by 85 runs. Beth Mooney was the Player of the Tournament for her 259 runs.

Women’s T20 World Cup 2018 Winner – Australia  

The 2018 tournament in the West Indies saw Australia reclaim the T20 title by defeating England in the final. Alyssa Healy’s explosive batting (225 runs) earned her the Player of the Tournament award. 

Women’s T20 World Cup 2016 Winner – West Indies  

West Indies secured their first-ever Women's T20 World Cup title by beating three-time champions Australia in the 2016 final at Kolkata. Stafanie Taylor's all-round brilliance (246 runs & 8 wickets) was instrumental in West Indies becoming the third team to lift the trophy.

Australia continued their winning streak by clinching their third consecutive title in 2014, defeating England in the final. Meg Lanning led from the front as captain and a standout performer throughout the tournament.
