Spain and Germany have named experienced squads for the World Cup and will look to secure the top spot in Group E. Both teams have been part of some historic matches in the past and are all set to clash in a few days.

The 2022 Football World Cup is underway in Qatar. The hosts got off to a terrible start as they lost 2-0 to Ecuador in the tournament's opening match on 20th November 2022. Spain and Germany, two of the biggest names in international football, are drawn in Group E of the Football World Cup.

Spain won its first match against Costa Rica by a record scoreline of 7-0. Dani Olmo, Marco Asensio, Ferran Torres, Gavi, Carlos Soler and Alvaro Morata all scored for the 2010 champions. Germany lost 1-2 to Japan in their first match. A loss for Germany combined with Japan victory in their next match could knock Germany out of the group stage for the second consecutive World Cup.
