South Africa will be playing their first match of this T20 World Cup. They are coming here after a loss against India in the last T20I series. In the only warm-up match played, South Africa registered a dominant win over New Zealand. The playing 11 is fairly settled.
 

On the other hand, Zimbabwe had qualified for the Super 12 stage by winning two out of three matches in the First Round. They beat Ireland and Scotland to finish first in the group. South Africa won the previous T20 World Cup match against Zimbabwe by 10 wickets in 2012.
