West Indies Women will take on New Zealand Women in Semifinal 2 of the Women’s T20 Cup 2024 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah, on Friday (October 18) evening.

West Indies beat England in the final group match and qualified for the semifinals at the top of Group B. They also knocked England out of the World Cup. Fletcher and Matthews took 5 wickets between them. Openers Matthews and Joseph scored fifties to chase down the target.  

On the other hand, New Zealand qualified as the second team in Group A, behind Australia. They beat India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the group stages and lost only to Australia. New Zealand scored 110 runs against Pakistan and dismissed them for just 56 runs.
